Design 

Harnessing our 35 years experience, we use our expert knowledge to provide solutions to any ventilation issues you may have. 

We ensure that our systems are designed to DW 172, specification for kitchen ventilation systems and that they meet and exceed all Health and Safety requirements.

Kitchen Extract Canopies 

We custom make kitchen extract canopies using 304 grade stainless steel. We will work with you to provide the best canopy  suited to the space, appliances and future needs of your business.

Ductwork and Extractor Fans 

We make our ductwork to DW 144, specification for sheet metal ductwork. Ensuring that there is access panels for cleaning and removal in case of fire. 

Our extractor fans are individually selected  taking into account design duty application, system resistance and site limitations. Thus, providing the best performance and cost effectiveness. 

 

Supply Air (Make up Air) 

Depending on the room we can provide a number of solutions for make up (supply air). Examples include mechanical air in and natural vents.

We distribute air around the work space to ensure c02 levels are not exceeded and a safe and comfortable environment.

Stainless Steel Wall Cladding 

Using 304 grade stainless steel, we can provide stainless steel wall cladding for your commercial kitchen. This provides heat resistance and promotes hygiene by ease of cleaning.

Emergency Callout 

We provide an emergency callout service to assist you if any components of your ventilation system fail.

If your fan has stopped working, we will endeavour to use our knowledge to create a solution to quickly get your system functioning again.

Safeguard your Business 

The Work Place (Health, Safety, and Welfare) Regulations 1992

The law requires that employers provide effective ventilation in every enclosed workplace, you must provide a safe and comfortable environment. A mechanical means of extraction is recommended.

Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

You must ensure there is adequate make up air (supply air) and extraction to mitigate the build up of c02. 

The maximum level of of c02 in a commercial kitchen is 2800 ppm. Due to the risks to health above this level, a gas engineer will isolate appliances and even consider the evacuating the premises.

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974

The act places responsibility on the person in control of the workplace to take out measures to ensure that the premises, plant  and equipment are safe without risks to health. 

Therefore, not providing adequate supply air and extraction in a commercial kitchen, you may be liable for any damage caused to your employee's.
